WAC: Communication and Expectations

Good communication is necessary for student success! Join us this week for a discussion of how to be specific about what you want your students to be able to know and do, when, and how.
WAC is just one event option in the Trefny Center Fall teaching series. Events include Coffee Hour, Wednesday Afternoon Club, and Faculty Drop-in Hour. WACs are informal midweek discussion for faculty to share strategies and learn from each other. We invite you to join us as you are able and welcome you to BYOB.
The four main elements in the Fall 2020 teaching series are: Course Setup and Structure, Design Flexible Assessments, Communication and Expectations, and Facilitate Interactions and Build Community. We recommend that you join one or more events each week to learn more and share ideas with other faculty. Please see our website for our full schedule.
